D&B database
Profit from the world’s most extensive database twice over: D&B’s global database contains information on more than 200 mil. companies from over 200 countries – including 1 mil. Swiss companies. In addition, all companies are clearly identified using the D&B D-U-N-S® numbers and the data are correctly classified.
Did you know, for example, that today:
- 50 companies are moving premises
- 60 companies are changing their name
- 165 companies are opening their doors
- 25 companies are going bankrupt
- 1500 entries in the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce are being published
All information is continuously researched and updated by the D&B staff. This ensures that you have a reliable and objective basis for making your business decisions.
The payment histories from the DunTrade® and ConsumerTrade® programs are also incorporated into the company and private individual data. Every year, D&B collects over 15 mil. pieces of billing information in Switzerland for the programs, and 20 bil. worldwide.
All of the information that is gathered is allocated to the companies using the D&B D-U-N-S® number. This code, developed by D&B, accurately identifies companies from all over the world. The data are linked, supplemented by prognostic risk indicators and checked as part of the DUNSRight™ process.
