DUNSRight™ Process

In order to provide you with reliable information, all of the data collected are collated in a multi-stage procedure and then checked, so that the information can be consolidated to become quality information. During this process, we check that the data are correct, complete, up to date and consistent worldwide.
The 5-step process
Data are collected from various sources worldwide and are then collated. In the steps that follow, the data is synchronised and supplemented with the D&B D-U-N-S® number. Corporate networks and prognostic indicators are then also added.
- Global data collection
The data are collected from a wide variety of sources from all over the world and collated by D&B. This ensures that the information we have is extensive.
- Data synchronisation
The collected data are then synchronised, allocated to the correct company and integrated into the D&B database. A clear picture of the individual companies is created.
- D&B D-U-N-S® Number
In order for us to identify companies accurately and keep track of any changes, we allocate each one a D&B D-U-N-S® number. This code makes it possible for us to cleanse data and recognise duplicate entries. Corporate networks are also illustrated.
- Corporate relationships
The links between companies are illustrated, such as the individual business relationships within corporate families. This provides an overview of the overall risk. New possibilities are displayed at the same time: cross-selling operations, for example.
- Prognostic indicators
Companies are evaluated for their economic performance. The indicators are based on statistical models and incorporate the company’s previous development into the prognosis. This means that you can have a reliable basis for your decisions.

DUNSRight™ Process
The quality management in the DUNSRight™ process includes over 2,000 automatic checks along with other manual verifications.
